While working on a screenplay yesterday, we had the pleasure of being interrupted by the wonderfully talented Pat Guadagno. Pat is a NJ based singer who has quite a following in our area...and hopefully his following will expand once you hear his voice. This is a cover he did of a Warren Zevon song, "Don't Let Us Get Sick", and Pat's version was featured on an episode of "Californication".
Although most often seen performing in and around the Red Bank and Jersey Shore areas, Pat has appeared on stage over the years with an amazing array of talent, including The Rembrandts, Tanya Tucker, Delbert McClinton, Peter, Paul & Mary, America, Hal Ketchum, Stevie Ray Vaughn, B.B. King, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and many more!
He also does a killer version of the Hollies classic, "Bus Stop"...hope you check it out!
BONUS:
Warren's original version of the song.
A Punk Rock Version (I think this was performed by David Duchovny's daughter on the show).
I find it fascinating how each artist interprets a song...which version is your favorite?
