I had a surprise visit from a friend of mine yesterday, and was pleased to hear that she had been checking out my blog and enjoyed several of my song choices (at least someone is reading/listening, lol). Anyway, we continued to talk about music for awhile and she mentioned that one of her current favorites was a guy named Alexi Murdoch.
I'd never heard of him, so this piqued my curiosity.....turns out he is an up & coming singer/songwriter who wrote most of the music for the 2009 film "Away We Go".
I finally had a chance to listen to some of his music last night and really like it. So, if you haven't heard Alex, here's one of his best: "All My Days"
