Starting the week off with one of my favorites....Austin based singer/songwriter Kelly Willis, who is what I would call an alternative country artist.
I discovered Kelly's music in 1999, when she released the amazing album, "What I Deserve", and the song "Not Forgotten You" is my favorite cut. I've always wondered why she didn't become a huge star as I think she is very talented.
Kelly is married to fellow singer/songwriter, Bruce Robison and they have four young children...according to Wikipedia, she has taken a hiatus from music to be with her kids. I, for one, look forward to her return!
