Several years ago I saw a wonderful French movie, called "Les Choristes", or "The Chorus" . The soundtrack from the movie has stayed with me ever since...and in fact at one time, was the only music that soothed my son to sleep.
My favorite track has always been "Vois Sur Ton Chemin" which translated, means:
"Look to Your Path" or "See on Your Way"
I didn't actually know that until just this minute...and I think there is a message in this for me -- I just had one of those "lightbulb moments" :)
All of the music in the film was performed by the children's choir, Les Petits Chanteurs de Saint-Marc.
I, for one, am always moved by it.
Here is the complete English translation:
See On Your Way
See on your way
Children forgotten and lost.
Give them a hand,
To lead them
To other tomorrows.
Feel in the the middle of the night
The wave of hope,
The ardor of life,
The path to glory.
Childish joys,
Erased and forgotten too soon.
A golden light shines endlessly
At the end of the road.
Feel in the the middle of the night
The wave of hope,
The ardor of life,
The path to glory
