My son finally learned to ride his bike yesterday, which is not only exciting for him, but for the rest of us -- we've wanted to take family bike rides for years and couldn't do so without him (of course).
When I posted this on Facebook, one of my friends reminded me of the lyrics to "Brand New Key" by Melanie....a big hit in the 70's when I was growing up. This of course got the song STUCK in my head....last time I heard it, it was there for a week. Thanks, Juli!!
Anyway, congrats to Noah...this was one of his big goals for the year!. And also, congrats to my daughter, Ally, who finished a 600+ page book after not being much of a reader until this past year. It was a big day in the Longo family!!
